If you or a loved one requires medical care at home, you will have 24/7 access to a registered nurse. In cases where only a caregiver is present, each professional is supported by a registered nurse, who is on call around the clock to deal with any medical requirements or complications that arise.
Individuals with MS or ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease) often require specialist in-home care to continue living at home. Understanding the individual and the condition is key to providing a balanced approach to care. Someone with MS or ALS needs to retain as much independence as possible. These conditions are unpredictable, so the care approach must be as flexible as possible.
All of our caregivers are hand-picked and screened for personality and medical skills. They take the time to build trust and rapport with individuals, which is fundamental to providing the best care. Our continuity of care approach also ensures that each caregiver has the time to bond with you or your loved one.
Adults with MS or ALS may require intermittent or ongoing medical care and assistance with day-to-day household tasks like cooking, light housekeeping, laundry, or running errands. As the family of an individual with MS or ALS, you may also require respite care to provide a break.
